As part of TfGM's Women On Wheels initiative, we hosted a programme entirely about women's cycling. At the 2017 event we were joined by guest speaker Emily Chappell of the Adventure Syndicate who shared her love of cycling and encouraged everyone to be brave and pursue their cycling dreams and adventures.

Our #findingempowerment project kicked off in style at the prestigious WOW Festival in Bradford on Saturday 18 November. We hosted a workshop alongside Ezdihar Abdulmula, Co-founder - Bradford Cobras Basketball team and campaigner for players to be allowed to wear the Hijab, #FIBAAllowHijab.

The workshop explored how sport can empower women and girls - and we discussed when sometimes it doesn't. It was a fun and interactive event and we're hoping to do more. Get in touch if you want to discuss hosting an event: hello@finditfilm.com

Our launch event in Bristol couldn't have been better! Chrissie Wellington OBE opened the event and spoke about her life in triathlon and involvement in our headline film - Impossible. Mina Leslie-Wujastyk's film about climbing in South Africa proved really popular and there was a lot of love in the room for local filmmaker Hannah Price whos' film about Paragliding inspired everyone. The girls of the Bristol Storm Basketball team were also there in force to see the premiere of our own film featuring them.

A huge thanks to Susie Hewson of Natracare who supported this event and the making of the Bristol Storm Basketball film, we couldn't have done it without their support. Thanks also to Meridian for providing Nut Bars for everyone and Cotswold Outdoor for the very popular Prize Draw.

Want us to organise an event?

We love hosting events or bringing a pop-up screening to an existing event. We can curate an event for a school, festival, expo, anything really - we're flexible and affordable, so if you want to chat then get in touch here.
